Effect of Coal Ash Properties on Compressive Strength of Bottom Ash-Based Geopolymer Concrete Tianyu Xie1, a and Togay Ozbakkaloglu2, b 1, 2 School of Civil, Environmental and Mining Engineering, University of Adelaide, Australia atianyu.xie@adelaide.edu.au, btogay.ozbakkaloglu@adelaide.edu.au Keywords: Geopolymer concrete (GPC); Bottom ash; Alkali-activated cement; Ambient temperature.
In majority of the engineering applications, concrete is typically cured under ambient conditions, and hence evaluation of the performance of concrete in practice requires an understanding of the behavior of geopolymers cured under such conditions.

Because the cofferdam is a complex of accumulated sands and gravels and no special engineering treatments are made, it has strong permeability and low structural strength, reinforcement measures should be introduced for the downstream slope toe accordingly.
