Theory
Modeling the reduction process to obtain the metallic neodymium [18-21] is a complex task involving the dynamic of the motion of the molten materials within the reduction cell, the kinetics of the reduction from the raw materials coupled with the dynamics of the electric current, electrical and magnetic fields.
From the neodymium concentration raw materials the general reduction reaction can be considered, Eq.(15)
