Keywords: response spectra; medium-stiff soil site; empirical probability distribution; Kolmogorov-Smirnov (KS) goodness-of-fit test; statistical average spectra formula
Abstract.
The statistical average spectra of a large number of ground motions are used in seismic design, which are partly decided by the engineering judgments in building codes[4-6].
Considering the averaged spectra is usually used in fitting the design spectra in practical together with the engineering judgments.

Keywords: Collapsibility; Loess; Cement; Stadium; Strength
Abstract.
To prevent instability accident occurs when construction projects is in progress in the collapsible loess region and ensure the security, reliability and economic rationality during engineering design and construction, it is necessary to choose a reasonable and effective loess foundation treatment.
Other engineering materials were introduced into the loess roadbed with a certain percentage, and compacted, thereby which can eliminate the collapsibility to enhance the strength of loess.
