The exposed strata in the tunnel area were constituted with the Quaternary Holocene series residual, colluvium and drift bed, lower and middle Jurassic series Ziliujing group the purple red mudstone, shale with thin-bedded gray sandstone, upper Triassic series Xujiahe group (T3xj6 ~T3xj1) gray thick-bedded to coarse-grained arkose-quartz sandstone, shale.
Evaluation of the tunnel water inflow quantity The analysis of hydrological test results. ①Pumping test: According to the pumping test results which was did by the geological exploration units of ZK89, ZK92,and ZK95, the J1z mudstone permeability coefficient of ZK89 number of holes was 0.121 m/d, the water inflow quantity of single well was 8.31m3/d; the J1z argillaceous siltstone permeability coefficient of ZK92 holes was 0.163m/d, the water inflow quantity of single well was 22.16m3/d, the J1z argillaceous siltstone permeability coefficient of ZK95 holes was 0.044m/d, the water inflow quantity of single well was 98.94 m3/d.
