It is proven, herein,
that crazes closer to the main crack dominate the resulting interaction effect and reflect an antishielding
of the damage while a reduction constitutes a material toughness.
Thus, the existence of these defects affects progressively the propagation of cracks already present in some materials.
The additional terms are homogeneous material stresses.

A 3D numerical model was developed to analyze the deformation and stress characteristics of HDPE material circular net cage exposed to waves, using the finite element method (FEM).
But when the HDPE material is aging and the yield stress decreases, the failure may happen.

To solve the problem of large deformation of lagrangian grids and the flowing material, we have used the ALE algorithm to calculate formation and penetration of annular EFP.
The shell material is made of #45 steel, and the Johnson-cook material and the gruneisen state equation are used.

High efficiency mirror surface machining of brittle materials such as glass has become more important as these materials have become used more widely in optical and electronic devices [1].
