Often it has been found a mixture of manufacturing methods and materials is required.
3D printing is more suited for complex shapes as 3D printing allows internal and external shapes to be made in one manufacturing step, with much shorter set up times, however materials are limited to the 3D printing machine type, and the surface finish is rougher compared to CNC machining.
Wood was not used as the materials produces dust particles that for the machining of such large surface with the required surface finish would have contravened aspects of the mandatory Australian health and safety regulations.
Case (iii): Manufacture using a combination of 3D printing and CNC machining This is another example where shape or configuration dictated the choice of materials and machining methods.

The production process of filtration materials
and the character of light CaCO3 as pore-forming agent were described; For the selected raw
materials, changed the ratio and aggregate granularity, the influence of ceramic aggregate content
on the aperture, aperture distribution, porosity and bending strength of filtration materials and the
influence of aperture distribution of aggregate on sample's capability have been revealed based on
the XRD analysis, SEM observation and bending strength measurement of filtration materials; at
the same time, the influence of sintering temperature on the porosity and bending strength of
filtration materials was also studied.
The results show that the better filtration effect and better chemical durability, the higher bending strength (15MPa) of the synthetical filtration materials can be obtained when the content of aggregate, the particle size and the sintering temperature are respectively 50~55wt%, 150~180µm and 1205°C. 1 Foreword With the rapid development of material science, the position of ceramic materials in the modern technique is improved.
As functional materials, filtration materials was exploited earlier in convection technology(or thermal transmission and mass transfer technology), so filtration, separation, fixed carrier, heat insulation, temperature sensor and others have been studied and applied widely.
The introduction of porous medium thermal transmission and mass transfer, Science press, BeiJing(1995),in press

Piezoelectric materials because their special ability to convert bwteen kinetic energy and electrical energy.
The reason of no observation of the electrode materials in the capacitor material is also discussed.
However, from the SEM pictures, the electrode materials formed metal filaments cannot be observed in the bulk PZT material.

In this research, active materials had been proposed as the actuator for the contractile function.
Figure 1 Selection of actuators Electroactive materials can be described as materials that deform when an amount of electric energy is applied to them.
There are many groups of active materials such as SMAs, piezoelectric materials and electroactive polymers [15].
Among those electroactive materials, SMA wire and IPMC sheet are two electroactive materials that had been adopted widely as successful materials that could substitute actual muscle in animals that depend on its contractile body for locomotion.
Third, these active materials consume relatively low electric energy but could produce high strain compared to another type of active materials [16,21].

Abstract.
A method of conventional chemical reaction to prepare delithiated cathode materials of Li-ion battery has been introduced.
A series of tests were conducted to verify the composition, crystal structure and electrochemical property of the delithiated cathode materials were all desirable.
Delithiated cathode materials with various lithium contents are needed in order to analysis the microstructure and properties.
