The high magnification images were recorded to reveal the details of surface structure and the cross section of the thin films were analysed to measure the thickness of the films.

Therefore, the dislocation structure in low SFE metals is planar and homogeneous, and dislocations are likely to be arranged on neighboring planar slip planes.
Summary The {110}<112> rolling texture of Cu-22% Zn brass (SFE: 14 mJ˖m-2) and Cu-30% Zn brass (SFE:7-14 mJ˖m-2) sheets, in which the dislocation structure is planar and homogeneous and so the dislocation density decreases rapidly during early annealing and in turn their dominant stored energy comes from the grain boundary energy, transforms into the {236}<385> texture after recrystallization.

Gum Arabic (GA), also known as gum Acacia, is a water-soluble hydrocolloid with a complex structure, that is rich in calcium, magnesium, and potassium [9,10].
This is due to the Newtonian behaviour of GA, which is attributed to its highly compact and branched molecular structure [26,27].

Abstract.
Since residual speciation comprises primary and secondary minerals within the crystal structure that is unlikely to be released under normal conditions, it would be inferred from this study that Cd and Cr in the soil samples are unlikely to pose as high potential risks as Pb and Cu to the environment.
When BDE209 of much higher levels interferes, however, its toxicity to biomass ascends and microbes are compelled to consume more energy and cell secretion to adsorb or degrade BDE209, thus physiological structures of the cells would be changed.

Eutectic structure was present, and intermetallics made up of Al12Mg17 and Al3Mg2 were produced [12].
Throughout the stirred zone, fragmentation was observed, along with refined grain structure on both the aluminium and steel surfaces [20]. 2.6 Steel to magnesium alloys Kasai et al examined the properties of FSW of magnesium and steel alloys.

Breaking its porous structure resulted that the pores decreased, particles became more uniform and accumulated more closely, so the apparent density increasing and the normal consistency of water demand reduced.
As shown in Fig.3, the structure of CFBC ash was porous, and the particles were irregular.

Based on Fig. 1, the six-channel micro-monolith structure and the sponge-like region are clearly visible, along with thin layers of the ion-selective and ion-conducting layers.
This value reflects the overall mechanical robustness of the multilayer structure, which comprises of the NiO–YSZ gas conversion layer, YSZ ion-selective layer, and the porous LSF ion-conducting layer.
These trends confirm the strong coupling between in-situ reforming chemistry and electrochemical oxidation in multilayer catalytic membrane operation under CO₂–CH₄ fuel mixtures.

To better understand pickling observations, simulated annealing tests were performed on the four
stainless steel grades presented above and the composition and structure of surface oxide films were
determined in function of annealing time.
Phase analysis was performed by X-ray diffraction (Cu Kα radiation in grazing and θ-2θ mode) and Raman spectroscopy, the latter technique allowing clear separation of phases exhibiting the same crystallographic structures (rhomboedral haematite, chromia and solid solution, for example).
Our results did not give evidence of large differences between scales formed on 304 and 316L grades in terms of chemistry, with, for example, identical Cr/Fe ratios for similar oxidation times.

Additionally, smaller grains generally result in high density structure, which consequently results in high dielectric constant.
