When Sodium Silicate is added to concrete buildings, the content of calcium hydroxide drops while the content of calcium silicate hydrate (C-S-H gel) increases as compared to untreated concrete structures.
Because the expansive and insoluble C-S-H gels partially fill the micro-pores, micro-voids, and micro fractures in the concrete structures, the sodium silicate-based concrete sealers are basically surface hydrophilic agents.
Several detached self-mending techniques can increase the service life of large structures at a low cost and with few difficulties.
It will be completely consistent in nonpartisan and fundamental structures.

The layered MnOx loosened gradually and formed flaky structures, and spalling finally occurred with further reusing.
However, the changes of WZ02 surface morphology was slight after recycling and the surface wrinkles and micropore structure did not change at all.
Compared with WZ01, the structure of WZ02 prepared by hydrothermal method with CTAB as templates changed obviously.

An 21 × 21 × 21 Monkhorst–Pack k-point mesh was employed to approximate the definite integral over the Brillouin zone of cubic structures (Pt and Pd), and a 9 × 9 × 6 k-point Γ-centered grids mesh was used for hexagonal structure Ru [9].
The unit cell was fully optimized in order to obtain the equilibrium crystal structure.
