conversion and homo-epitaxial growth was developed.
The above mentioned mechanisms lead to an advanced method for eliminating the residual SFs with additional homo-epitaxial growth.
To remove the remaining SFSi, which cannot be eliminated on undulant-Si, an advanced SF reduction method involving homo-epitaxy, called switch-back epitaxy (SBE), was developed.
