One such try is polymer- cement, which is prepared by the modifying polymer additives such as dispersible polymer powders, latexes, water-soluble polymers, liquid resins, and monomers with ordinary cement mortar.[1] then, a recurrent interest has established itself, in the field of construction.[2] They continue to be very promising materials for new uses chiefly for tile adhesives, cover-up coatings, , coatings, attractive coating, and thermal insulation; they are used also for the healing of civil engineering structures in the field of community works, and in some road applications as well.[3] Aggarwal, et al 2007 [4].

A work by Schmalzer et al. did provide extensive work on the damages of radiation to 3D printed structure produced via Direct Ink Wetting (DIW) [6].
Infill density was also identified to affect radiation-induced changes which implies that controlling the printing parameters can modify radiation chemistry.

The microcracks in PCC´s under stress become bridged by the formed polymer film, which is responsible for inhibition in crack propagation [3,5] · The addition of polymer improves the workability of the mix and less water is required, leading to strength improvements [4,5,6] · Another effect can be also attributed to more homogenous structure of concrete with decrease of interfacial transition zone.

In this work the AZ31B surfaces were conditioned before joining through mechanical abrasion by sandblasting to increase the surface roughness and through annealing to change the metal surface chemistry.
The TFML structure and geometry, together with the joining process via HMP, are showed schematically in Fig. 1.
