But it is
well known that the reduction potential of Al is too negative to permit its electrodpositon from
aqueous solution, H2 evolution being the preferred process.
It is found that the deposited layers only show the presence of the Al and Fe phase.
The relative intensity of the Al phase increasing in fig. 4b should be caused by the increasing of the thickness of the aluminum layer.

Introduction
β-sialons, which have high heat resistance, chemical stability and wear resistance are formed by
simultaneous substitution of Al and O elements with Si and N in β-Si3N4 materials.
1 Though the
expensive reaction sintering involving many processes is one of the common method to synthesize
β-sialons, in recent years a cost effective MA-CS has emerged as a promising method in their
powder syntheses.
Experimental Procedure An appropriate proportion of β-sialon (z=3) starting materials such as Si, Al and α-Al2O3 were taken and was planetary milled for 18 mins. followed by combustion synthesis under a low nitrogen pressure of 1 MPa.2 The sialon powders thus obtained were again pulverized by planetary milling to 1h to break the CS caused agglomerations and to increase the sintering ability of powders.
Watari et al. 6 reported that the thermal conductivity is dependent on the internal defects and dislocations present in the grains.
Further, it was seen that the thermal conductivity decreases with the increase of alumina content in β-sialon ceramics. 7 Thus, in our study of β-sialons, a hypothesis is suggested that the replacement of Al and O ions with Si and N ions will turn to substitutional impurities in the grains and lead to scattering of phonons.

prepared the TiC films by filtered cathodic vacuum arc technique using the C2H2 gas as the precursor [8], El Mel et. al. by a hybrid plasma process combining Physical Vapor Deposition and Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition [9], and Sedlackova et al. by DC magnetron sputtering [10].
Martínez-Martínez et al. prepared the TiC nanocomposites by double magnetron sputtering.
This result is in the correlation with work of Zhang et. al [19], they were observed no dominant texturing in TiC.
