Even though most industries have tried to find efficient ways to reduce cost, it was too slow to change a system in the engineering industry.
The structure for plant is composed of various engineering problems complicatedly, and it is hard to change design variables arbitrarily.
In order to prepare a competition among advanced engineering companies, it is essential to have a system including whole process.

Neutron diffraction remains the superior technique for strain analysis, particularly for engineering components with complex geometries.
Consequently, further technical development shall be heavily based on advanced modeling using sophisticated software packages.
The development of such models remains and shall remain the top priority for both academia and industry R&D; however, even the most advanced models will not represent the real phenomena occurring in the alloys unless properly validated with experimental methods such as ND.
