An effective way to solve this problem is to develop new plugging materials, which are in the nanometer or micrometer scale.
However, when drilling in the shale formation to obtain shale gas, new plugging materials should be developed.
One effective way to solve the block problem in the drilling of the shale formation is to search and develop the plugging materials with smaller size.
Experimental Materials.
So the sample 3 is probably the best candidate of plugging materials in shale formation.
