These films are hygroscopic materials, and thus, very susceptible to environmental conditions, such as water vapor [5].
The main contribution to the polarizability in edible films can arise from the water molecules, due to the hydrophilic nature of these materials, as well as to the presence of hydroxyl groups.

A new design and analysis of actuators employing magnetostrictive material TbDyFe is presented.
Design of the TbDyFe actuators Using zone melting unidirectional solidification, the Dept. of Materials Science and Engineering of BUAA has investigated the relationship of unidirectional solidification preferred orientation, microstructure and magnetostrictive property of TbDyFe alloys.
The actuators instrumented <110> preferred orientation TbDyFe materials are constructed, which can generate large amplitude of motion. 2.
