Frost studies for forced convection are extensive Raju and Sherif [1], Ismail et al. [2], Lee and Ro [3] and Sengupta et al. [4] presented numerical and experimental models to predict frosting process over a circular cylinder subjected to a humid air cross flow.
Kim el al. [10] proposed dimensionless correlations of frost properties on a cold cylinder surface.
Formulation and the solution of the frost formation process Following Tao et al.[11] and Ismail et al.[2], model the first phase in the frost formation process is to consider the one dimensional crystal growth.
Considering a volume control element i, we can write using the results of firs phase modeling: (1) (2) This procedure is recommended by Tao et al.[11] and Ismail et al.[2].
The local volume averaging technique described by Tao et al.[11], Gall and Grillot [12] and Ismail et al.[2] will be used.

Al-Si-Sc master alloy filler with varying contents of scandium is used for welding.
In Al-Mg alloys, magnesium provides solid solution strengthening by solute-dislocation interaction [1].
Master alloys such as Al-Ti, Al-Ti-B and Al-Zr are used in Al alloys to provide heterogeneous nucleation sites by generating second phase particles such as TiAl3, TiB2 and ZrAl3.
