Abstract.
New prestressed latticed shell structures such as suspended-dome structure and cable dome structure which appears in recent years are widely acknowledged in the society and bring vitality to engineering practice.
In the 1980s, America people, Geiger and Levy, proposed cable dome structure system based on the concept Fuller drawing and obtained a great success in engineering practice, which verified the correctness of Prof.
From engineering reliability perspective, it is essential to carry out the theoretical and Experimental research on wind resistance capabilty, antiseismic performance and the dynamic stability of self-balance prestressed latticed shell structure.

Introduction
The knowledge of flow past bluff bodies is of major importance in the field of civil and wind engineering.
In virtue of the overwhelming requirement of computing cost owing too many grid points required especially near the wall, LES is not yet a practical tool for engineering application.
The RANS-based modeling approach therefore greatly reduces the required computational effort and resources, and is widely adopted for practical engineering applications.
The focus of this paper is to look for a reasonable 2D RANS approach for practical wind engineering problems by comparing their results with experimental data.
Therefore, the wind-tunnel experiments and CFD can be used in synergy in practical wind engineering problems.
