Quaternary ammonium chitosan derivatives also show good hygroscopic property and moisture retentiveness like hyaluronic acid and be most suitable functional cosmetic materials.
Experimental Materials.
These characteristics of quaternized chitosan derivative would be useful in various fields, such as moisturizers for cosmetics, degradable biomedical materials, and antibacterial agents.
