Prefabricated Box Girder Crack’s Reason Analysis and Preventative Measures Panwu Li a, Zhenxing Xue b Institute of Civil Engineering, Chang’an University, 161 Chang’an Middle Road, Xi’an, Shanxi, 710061, China alpw85392779@126.com, b409777259@qq.com Key word: Prestressed concrete box girder, Crack, Reasons, Preventative measures Abstract: With its good spanning capacity and whole structural stress performance, the prestressed concrete box girder is widely used in modern large-span bridge structures.
At present, cracks become prominent problems which block box girder development, and this is also the common focus which the academic field and engineering field concern.
In engineering practice, in order to accelerating the construction progress, the construction units usually start to dismantle formwork earlier not with enough intension of the concrete, resulting in box girder flange cracks or bottom pressure rupture.

A Nonlinear Numerical Analysis of Vertical Bearing Behavior of Bored Pile Foundations Including Defective Piles with Stem Shrinkage Wang Chenghuaa, An Jianguob School of civil engineering, Tianjin University, China aChwang@tju.edu.cn, bAnjg_cn@yahoo.com Keywords: Numerical analysis; Pile foundation; Bearing behavior; Defective pile; Stem shrinkage Abstract.
Introduction Though stem shrinkage is a common type of defectiveness encountered in construction of bored pile foundation engineering [1], its affects on the vertical bearing behavior of piles remain unclearly known.
The axial forces distribution among piles and their variation along pile stem for all pile foundations are of very importance in engineering design.
