Introduction The outer profile of thin-walled rotary parts made of hard brittle material on high-speed aerocraft have met the aerodynamics requirements after semi-finish machining, but the microwave characteristic cannot reach the performance requirement because of uneven distribution of material, the wall thick should be properly grinded to compensate the physical performance [1,2].

Introduction Materials are important in sensors and transducers [1-3].

Thermoelectric power generation devices use semiconductor materials optimized for the “Seebeck effect” and take advantage of existing temperature gradients to produce energy.
Materials and methods A finite element (FE) model of the commercially available Seebeck module has been developed in the ANSYS Workbench ® (v. 14.0) FE analysis software.
Finally, for the p-type and the n-type materials, average, temperature independent material properties have been considered (Table 1).
