Introduction As a quenching medium, gas has less thermal conductivity coefficient than oil and water, but gas can adjust quenching process according to the special requirement of workpiece shape and material, and the thermal conductivity performance of gas can achieve the level of oil and spray water by increasing the velocity or pressure of gas.
