The escalating research focus on natural plant-based fibers has been attributed to their cost-effectiveness, lightweight nature, and minimal carbon footprint in contrast to engineered fibers such as glass, steel and polymer fibers.
In addition, the inherent self-curing mechanism of natural fibers enhances the concrete performance, rendering them a highly promising substitute to engineered fibers [17–19].
Consequently, the key findings of this research can be leveraged by engineers and architects to identify the most suitable concrete candidate, Typha percentage, sand and cement mixtures for new concrete designs.

In the most engineering structure, the stacking sequence orientation should be balanced (same number of +h-plies than h-plies, with h has different from 0° or 90°) and symmetric about the mid-plane in order to avoid shear-extension coupling.

Alloys development
It is important to note that it took more than 30 years of very intensive research around the world to
obtain a maturity level of intermetallic TiAl alloys for engineering applications
[10,11].
However, cast Ti-48Al-2Cr-2Nb cannot for engineering application due to low plasticity and low strength coming from coarse lamellar.
Since the decision of introducing TiAl sheet for the divergent flap of the nozzle for the high-speed civil transport engine, production of TiAl sheets have received special attention [60].
The ingot processing route of TiAl alloys could provide cost-effective process route for industrial usage and is on the threshold of engineering applications.
However, there is a persistent need to the transfer from experimental research to engineering components.
