Introduction
The existing building area approximately is 40 billion square meters in china ,and about 2 billion square meters’ new buildings are added each year ,more than 95% of which are still high-energy buildings [1].The Annual Development Report on China Building Energy 2008 states that buildings account for 25% of total energy consumption in China.And the data will be changed into 45% if the energy consumption of building materials taken into account With the rapid development of urban construction.Building energy consumption increases the country's greenhouse gas emissions and the contribution rate has reached 25% [2].
The four landmark buildings(Park China Pavilion, Theme Pavilion , Expo Center and the future Hall )all apply the integrated solar technology , and the capacity of solar panels total installed is 4.6 MW,the average annual generation is 4,060,000 kwh , the total amount of carbon dioxide emissions reduction are more than 3400 tons , which all ease the pressure on the grid and achieve good environmental benefits greatly.As of 2011 , the total capacity of photovoltaic building has been realized 535.6MW, but BIPV is still in the demonstrative and exploratory stage in application.
