The activated materials were mixed and filled into special mesh bag and then fixed in porous plastic rectangle box as a modular unit to facilitate the replacement and addition of reactive material in PRB when it was saturated and invalidated.
In addition, the artificial enhanced migration and treatment of multi-component pollutants in groundwater were more advantageous to the replacement and supplement of different saturated activated materials in PRB momentarily.
