Pure submicron-sized ZrC powder was successfully synthesized in KCl by using ZrO2, Mg and carbon black as the starting raw materials.
However, the raw materials used are expensive and the product particles also suffer from heavy agglomeration.

In the model test, the different composite filter materials including six new filter materials and a non-woven textile, were used and wrapped on the displacement hull.
