The aim of this work was to synthesize Ag-TiO2 nanocomposites and to characterize them in order to contribute to the understanding of the preparation of nanocomposite materials.
Introduction The nanomaterials obtained large importance in the last decades because these materials have large fraction of surface atoms, high surface energy, spatial confinement and reduced imperfections, which do not found in the corresponding bulk materials.
Mostly, the reactions utilize silver nitrate (AgNO3) and titanium alkoxides as the starting material.

As can be seen from Fig. 8, in Plan (a) there are obvious folding areas at the channel of draw rod; in Plan (b) the end of channel of the draw rod is not fully filled with metal materials and the surface of the end cylinder is quite rough; in Plan (c) the forge piece is excellent.
In the whole process, the metal materials flows in disorder; consequently, there are some defects in the forge pieces.
