Khosravani et al. [6] have shown that there are two types of primary twins in polycrystalline AZ31 alloy: slip-assisted twins nucleating at the GB (grain boundary) being unaffected by nearby twins, and twin-assisted twins nucleating under the control of nearby twins.
Wang et al. [7] studied the de-twinning mechanisms for growth twins in sputtered nano-twinned Cu.
Barnett et al. investigated the secondary twinning in AZ31 magnesium alloy, revealing that the 38˚<110> twin variant is favored in the secondary twinning mode and that it shows non-Schmid behavior [8].

However, the atoms with a similar atomic number can not be distinguished, so in the image can be identify the Cu atoms, but not the Mg atoms, because the atomic number of Mg is similar to the Al number (Fig. 4).
Lineal Polarization curves realized with several feeds and cuttting speeds in saline media Conclusions The presence of Al (Cu, Mg) intermetallics in the machined surface is related with the response to corrosion of UNS A92024 alloy in seawater.

This result is in agreement with Wang et. al [9].
According to Franco et. al, [12] prolonged exposure to ultrasonic could reduce the particle size as the particles collided with the interparticles.
The observation is in agreement with Jablonski ets al [13].

An example is René 41, a nickel-based high temperature alloy developed by General Electric, containing an increased amount of Al (1.6 wt. %) and Ti (3.1 wt. %), which retains high strength in the 649/982°C temperature range.
It was found that in gas tungsten arc (GTA) welds, Al + Ti content affects post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) or heat-affected zone (HAZ) cracking susceptibility.

Kralchevska et al. [7] concluded that no change in the optical properties was observed on the gamma irradiated materials.
Although there are no significant changes on physical properties, but according to Huang et al. 2001 [6], the gamma irradiation can modify its optical properties.
