Silica mesoporous materials have high surface areas and narrow pore size distributions.
In this study, we prepared mesoporous titania to obtain high-rate rechargeable materials.

Jumps in material parameter values are used in order to simulate the two different materials: metal and oxide.
This can be explained by the fact that we consider the chemical expansion of the metal enriched with oxygen (while Parise doesn't) and by the lateral symmetries that simulate an infinitely large domain with expanding materials.
