For this purpose the ceramics materials prepared by sintering of powders are used.
The WC-Co coat is structural ceramics prepared by powder sintering and it is used for difficult application.
The main advantages of structural ceramics are their extremely high hardness, high corrosion and heat resistance.

Synthesis of CNTs was carried out in a ceramic tube reactor (40 mm ID and 100 cm length) placed in a double-stage horizontal furnace.
The first stage of the furnace was a heating tape wrapped around the first quartile of the ceramic tube.

Introduction Inconel 718, a high strength, corrosion resistant, age hardenable super alloy of Nickel is widely used in the field of aerospace engineering.
Zhang et al. [2] investigated the wear mechanism of ceramic cutting tools during the dry turning of Inconel 718 and found that notch wear and flank wear were the main failure modes.
