During study it was observed that the development of hydroxyapatite on a coated surface during the process of cultivation in SBF electrolyte as well as the volume reduction of released H2.

By rescaling the C-V data for the change in the built-in voltage due to the lifetime-relaxation type transition, the remaining capacitance changes could be interpreted as nuclear recoil-induced damage located at the fringe of the particle range.
Here, data taken 6 and 31 weeks after irradiation were normalized.
