Abstract: In this paper, radial impact responses of TiNi phase transformation cylindrical shell were experimentally studied on two-directional constraint.
Finally, the surface strain was obtained by processing the shell deformation image, and the dynamic effect of the material phase transition and phase transition hinge on the cylindrical shell was examined.

Introduction
Acoustic emission is a unique method for non-destructive evaluation of materials and structures
because of its capabilities for real-time detection, location and monitoring of active growing cracks
(Roger 2001).
Most publications show results from fatigue cracks in bulk materials and qualitative results from real structures (Scruby et al., 1985).
