Weinkauf et al[1] proposes a glyph representation for high-order vector singular points.
Wu et al[4] have used the topological structure to place the streamlines in 2D vector fields.
Mebarki at el[5] have also suggested a different placing streamlines method, which place streamlines at a long distance with others so as to ensure to place the longer streamlines first.
Chen et al[7] uses a similar guiding error evaluation with the streamlines placement method.

Idar et al. [5] reported the mechanical properties of PBX 9501 as a function of temperature and strain rate.
Lochert et al. [6] conducted uniaxial tensile tests of PBXN-109 with JANNAF test specimen at quasi-static strain rate and observed stress and strain at maximum load, elastic modulus.

Narayanasamy et.al [8] have reported the work hardening and strain hardening effect of aluminium composites produced through powder metallurgy route at various aspect ratios during the cold upsetting process.
The composites were prepared through stir casting technique by adapting the standard procedure as given in the following literatures Kalaiselvan et al, Riaz Ahamed et al [4-5].
The true axial stress is calculated using the relationship given by Ananadakrishnan et.al [7] (1) True axial stress (σz) = Applied load/Contact area
(2) The true axial strain (z ) is determined using the expression given by Abdel-Rahman and El-Sheikh [8] z =In ( ) (3).The hoop stress (σө) is calculated using the known values of Poisson’s ratio (α) and axial stress (σz) under tri-axial stress conditions as explained by Narayanasamy et al.[9] Hoop stress (σө) = ( ) σz (4).The hydrostatic stress (σm) is calculated using given by Narayanasamy et al

Influence of Si-Al-Ge-Sb Matricies on Tm 3+ Excitation Levels M.
The relation for oscillator strength OS [10], [11] was used for its first approximation from decomposed absorption spectra: ∫= 2 1 2 0 2 0 2 )/ln( 4 λ λ λ λπ ε d II Nde mc OS ; )(303.2)/ln( 0 λα=II , (2) where m - the electron mass, c - the light velocity, ε0 - el. permittivity, e - electron charge, N - concentration of Tm3+ , d - thickness of samples.
Concentration profiles of Ge, Al, Sb and Tm were determined on preform samples by using an electron microprobe analysis (device JEOL JxA50A).

Friction Stir Welding of Dissimilar 5xxx to 6xxx Al Alloys: A Review S.
For welding dissimilar Al alloys, a number of candidate processes are there.
The study of DebRoy and Bhadeshia [9] was aimed to assess the status of friction stir welding of dissimilar alloys and to identify the opportunities and challenges for the future in general; while that of Murr [10] was mainly focused on research carried out at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) only.
North et al.[19] investigated dissimilar material intermixing during friction stir spot welding(FSSW) of AA5754(an alloy of Al, Mg & Mn) to AA6111(an alloy of Al, Mg, Mn & Si) sheets using a combination of experimentation and numerical modeling.
A ribbon of contiguous Al 5754 and Al 6111 lamella was formed and it was moved downward via the thread when the tool rotated during the dwell period in spot welding.
