Fluctuations in material properties of the incoming steel for UOE forming process are widespread.
In this paper, experiments were conducted to investigate how a stochastic material behavior of noise factors affected UOE forming quality.
Although these fluctuations meet the API standards in terms of the mechanical properties of the pipeline steel, they seriously affect the stability of UOE pipe forming.
