This work reports on results from two phase heat transfer devices assembled with ceramic capillary structure.
It is firstly presented the manufacturing of the ceramic wick structures and afterwards the characterization of the morphological- and fluid-dynamical properties of these ceramic wick structures.
In contrast with the wick structure of the LHP, the CPL ceramic wick structure has grooves over its entire circumference.
Table 2 and Table 3 present morphological- and fluid-dynamical properties of the wick structures.

The FTIR data show that the main functional groups in the polymeric film structure are C-H (3000 cm-1 to 2900 cm-1), C-O-C and C-O (1200 cm-1 to 900 cm-1) similar to the polyethylene oxide (PEO) structure.
The pp-diglyme films and polyurethane structures were studied through FTIR obtained by a Perkin Elmer Lambda-25TM spectrometer.
The increase of RF power coupled to plasma discharge produces a much more reactive chemistry causing monomer fragmentation in small chemical units.
It can be seen from the spectra that the molecular PEO-like structure of pp-diglyme in (b) is quite similar to PEO (a).

Shape-Controlled Synthesis and Pattern Recognition of core-shell Co-Al Hydroxides Superstructures Pengcheng HE1, a, Xiaobo JI1,b, Qing ZHANG1, Yifei LIU1 and Wencong LU1, c 1Department of Chemistry, College of Sciences, Shanghai University, Shanghai 200444, China.
Samples of core-shell structures are grouped into “class1”, while the others are grouped into “class2”.
The experimental results confirmed sample “A” was core-shell structures, and sample “B” was not core-shell structures.

Acrylic acid (AA), N.N-Dimethylformamide(DMF), ethanol(CH3CH2OH) were purchased from XiLong Chemistry Industry (Shantou, China).
PVP is used as the scecond network to structure semi- interpenetrating polymer networks.
As showed in fig.3, there are numerous pore structures in the sample after added PEG2000.
The pore structures provide channels for hydrone to enter hydrogels.

The titanium carbide powders with variable content of carbon in structure were synthesized by the SHS method.
In the case of the B sample the chromium carbide was fully dissolved in titanium carbide structure.
The very low parameters values confirms chromium dissolution in titanium carbide structure.

TiO2 nano-powders as potential low-temperature optical gas sensors Marko Eltermann, Sven Lange, Kathriin Utt, Urmas Joost, Ilmar Kink, Valter Kiisk, Ilmo Sildos, Institute of Physics, University of Tartu, Riia 142, Tartu Estonia marko.eltermann@ut.ee Keywords: TiO2, gas sensor, oxygen, low temperature, surface chemistry, rare earth ions, optical, photoluminescence Abstract: Present work investigates the applicability of nano-sized TiO2 (anatase) as a potential optical sensor material for ambient oxygen below room temperature.
The gas response of the sensor is characterized via the photoluminescence (PL) intensity considering the effects of the surface chemistry, temperature, UV irradiation, humidity and powder nanoscale morphology.
After drying in vacuum rotator and annealing at 800 oC in oxygen to form a crystalline structure, the nano-crystallites were notably aggregated (see Fig. 1a).
Somewhat similar enhanced absorption in the UV has previously been noted by us in case of the ion implanted HfO2 and ZrO2 where the highly defective crystal structure was caused by the ballistic bombardment with ions.
