Experiment results
showed that WEDM in atmosphere offers advantages such as better straightness and higher material
removal rate.
A typical mould steel 9SiCr was selected as the test material.
In Electrical Discharge Machining, the discharge gap length influences machining stability, material removal rate and machining accuracy directly.
It is clarified in Fig.10 that the all material removal rates in atmosphere are highter than that in emulsion.

For many years, titanium dioxide pigments had booming for presenting opacity and whiteness to a whole host of different materials.
Thus, it had produced synthetic rutile that had been used as starting material for this study.
The solution is painted on glass slide and inserted into gas tube tested according to ISO/CD 22197-1 Test method for air-purification performance of semiconducting photocatalytic materials – Part 1: Removal of nitric oxide.

The manufactured composite material mainly consists of organic polymeric materials like polyester fabric and PET thin film.
Introduction Composite materials have been sharing a bigger role in engineering structures for decades and such a trend still continues today.
Now their application even extends to aerospace industry where traditionally metallic materials have played a dominant role [1].
However, for actual engineering application, fabricated composite materials are routinely tailored into a shape to meet the design requirement and naturally leave so called “cut” cross section around the edges of the “components”.
