Introduction
Polymer materials used in the preparation of food contact packaging materials and containers need to add some additives in the synthesis and processing, such as catalyst, processing aids, modified additives and monomer residue.
With the development of modern society, disposable food contact materials are widely used in daily life.
These food contact materials are polymer materials used in food packaging contain low molecular weight substances which can move to food.

With the continuous development of processing materials, tool materials have been developed from high speed steel, carbide to high performance ceramics, super-hard materials during the past few decades.
Properties of tool materials are improved obviously.
There are many kinds of super-hard cutting tool materials and the most widely used is the diamond tool materials and cubic boron nitride tool materials.

Most of the research on FBG sensors is to embed optical fibers inside composite materials such as carbon fiber reinforced composite materials used in aircraft frames, windmill blades, and high-performance automobiles.
Very few studies on embedding optical fibers inside high melting materials such as titanium have been carried out.
