Here we describe the synthesis and mesomorphic properties of a three-ring bent-core LC 1,3-phenylene-bis(4-butoxybenzylideneamine).cholesteric liquid crystals have had many applications as electro-optic materials in thin film devices, and compared with other liquid crystals, thermotropic cholesteric liquid-crystal polyesters have received much attention in the last years as engineering polymers for their special optical properities such as circular dichroism, selective reflection, intensively rotary polarization and rotary dispersion and so on.

The samples have been measured by X-ray diffraction (XRD) (D8 Advance, Bruker Axs), optical digital microscope (ODM) (VK-X100/X200,Keyence), spectrophotometer (ultraviolet/visible /near infrared, U-4100, Hitachi), scanning electron microscope (SEM) (S4800, Hitachi), and then the data from the testing process have been compared.

In the simplest algorithm for diffusion in the lattice model, each attempt to jump by a randomly chosen particle simply advances the 'clock' by one time step but various straightforward 'siteresidence time' algorithms have been advanced that can be more efficient though there is inevitably some extra computational overhead when these are implemented.

It is clear from Fig. 2 that the degree of nitriding of the E3 test piece of the 1.5G/Ti was more advance for the top surface (E3 top) than for the bottom surface (E3 bottom) and that the degree of nitriding of the E3 test piece of the 1.5G/Ti was more advanced than that of the E4 test piece (E4 powder).
