The core-shell structures consist of a nanocrystaline core over which shells of another nanocrystaline material or several materials are covered.
The gas-sensing efficiency of a material depends on its micro and nanostructural properties which are related to its method of preparation, the latter playing a very important role with regard to the chemistry, structure and properties of ZnO nanomaterials.
When heated to higher temperature, the core-shell structure will remain similar to heterojunction materials.

The morphological structure of the powders was assessed by transmission electron microscopy (Tecnai F30, US FEI).
In fig. 3(b), there was unobvious morphological structure in T1, and multi-layer sheet was stacked together.
As the mass of EPS increased, in fig. 3(e) and (f), the long rhombus structure was transmitted to spherical structure, and the particle size was increased gradually, which indicated the particle size would increase as the density of explosive decrease.

In order to further research the inner lattice structure, Cary 500 (UV-NIR) was used for characterization of the opal.
Figure 2 shows that the 270nm PS colloidal crystal has good lattice structure.
XRD was used to detect the crystal structure of SnO2 inverse opal.
Figure 5 is the crystal structure comparing between SnO2 sol gel (heated at 500 ℃ for 2 hours) and inverse opal.

Binuclear manganese(III) Schiff base complexes are of increasing interest because such dinuclear systems are known to act as a paramagnetic building block for multidimensional expanded structures and exchange interaction between paramagnetic centers of a large number of binuclear complexes has already received wide attention [3].
