Specific capacitance can be improved significantly by surface modification of carbon materials.
In addition, the modified carbon materials possess excellent power performance.
However, specific capacitances obtained from carbon materials are much lower than that expected.

Polyethylene glycol acrylate-grfat-Cellulose-acrylate(PEGA-g-CEA) has been synthesized as side-chain-type solid-solid phase change materials for thermal energy storange through graft copolymerization.
The results show that the polyethylene glycol(PEG) successfully grafted onto the cellulose macromolecule, and the solid-solid phase change materials with a certain phase transformation ability were obtained through this experiment.
Introduction The research and application of the polymer Phase Change Materials(PCM) have been developed rapidly for the past few years[1],PCM is a ssignificant and attractive material for latent heat storage because of its high energy storage density and small temperature variation from storage to retrieval and other many unique properties.

However, materials such as activated carbon are obtained from coal, which is non-renewable while the other catalyst materials are expensive and cannot be easily procured or prepared.
