This property is mainly the result of either the chemical composition of materials or the geometric structures of the surface [6].
However, due to the complex processes and expensive materials used in these methods, a simple and cost effective alternative for fabricating large area, nano-scale periodic structures is in urgent need.
These processes are thus not suitable to fabricate simple two-dimensional nano-tip structures on surface of materials in large areas at a low cost.

At present, great hopes in the field of cardinal improvement of the technology and quality of construction materials are connected with the use of nano- technologies and nano-particles.
Depending on the type of these bonds, the following contact types are marked out in condensed or crystal structures of disperse materials: direct atom contacts in dry powders and relatively weak forces of molecular interaction.
Such systems include the most part of raw compositions used for the production of construction materials The prevalence of capillary forces over others is especially appreciably for particles with the size more than 10 µm and up to 1…2 mm.
It opens potentialities of control over technological properties of raw compositions in the process of production of concrete, silicate, ceramics and other construction materials.
First the mechanism of capillary cohesion was proved for the silica sand, then it was proved for more complicated systems: the raw mixes used for the production of construction materials.
