Activation Energy Measurement of Cu/SS-AlN/SiAlOx Solar Selective Absorbing Coating Jinping Wanga, Bo Yuanb and Jian Wangc and Yi Luo Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University, Information Science and Technology National Laboratory, Beijing, 100084, China aphysicswjp@163.com, byuanbo589@yahoo.cn, cwangjian@mail.tsinghua.edu.cn Keywords: Activation energy, Cu/SS-AlN/SiAlOx, Solar selective coating, Equivalent life span.
As early as 1999, the International Energy Agency (IEA) proposed an international standard draft-ISO12592 for low-temperature solar thermal conversion, based on the data of solar selective coating ageing provided by the project task 10 [1].
The thickness of the Cu metal, the SS-AlN cermet and the SiAlOx ceramic at different sputtering conditions were measured by a Sloan Dektak IIA step profiler.
The diffusion process for the coating Cu/SS-AlN/SiAlOx occurs mostly between the infrared reflection layer metal material Cu and absorbing layer ceramic material SS-AlN.
