The research method of the wind turbine is nothing more than the analytical solution, the wind tunnel experiments and numerical simulation.
According to the simulation, as long as parameters of the curtain such as l1, l2, α and β are reasonable arranged, the Cp-max of the turbine can be 38%, much higher than the turbine without curtain plates (16%).
So the researchers can only use the numerical simulations to analyze and the experiments to verify.

The deduster adopts lower filtering velocity design concept, flow filed distribution inside the deduster is researched and analysed by computational fluid dynamics (CFD), rational gas flow velocity and gas flow direction are determined based on numerical simulation results, deflector is provided inside deduster, deduster structure is optimized, and the gas flow field is evenly distributed inside deduster to ensure that the bag inside the deduster work under even and stable gas flow, this is the key technology in the design of large BF gas bag deduster.

A computational fluid dynamic (CFD) analysis and an experiment on single cylinder engine test bed of combustion process in a compressed natural gas direct injection (CNGDI) engine with compression ratio 14:1 have been conducted by Abdullah et. al. [3], concluding that a proper heat transfer mechanism was needed to avoid engine malfunction.
Simulation was conducted for all engine speeds on three types of pistons namely the uncoated piston crown, tin (Na2SnO3) coated piston crown and ceramic based yttria partially stabilised zirconia (YPSZ) coated .
