High-temperature mechanical properties were examined by Uzan et al. [12] from room temperature up to 400 °C.
Three samples were tested for each condition and average and standard deviation were calculated for yield strength (YS), ultimate tensile strength (UTS) and elongation (El %) values extrapolated from strain-stress curves.
The observed behavior compares well also with results for other Al alloys [19].

Katona et al. [3] has developed a software program named CANDE to incorporate the seismic effect on culverts by applying a free field displacement boundary condition on a finite element model.
Then the earthquake excitation is input in the lower boundary and the EL-CENTRO acceleration time history is adopted to be the excitation history with its duration of 10 seconds, sample interval of 0.02 second and peak acceleration of 0.1 g.
