For solid materials (condensed state materials) there are two basic types of structural order: crystalline materials (which has a long-range ordered structure) and systems which have not reached steady state with short-range order (such as amorphous solids, vitreous).
For X-ray study of materials is indicated only a small range of wavelengths.
Also, be aware of an ordered amorphous phase, which will give good resistance material in oral cavity, much better than other ceramic materials (ie HERA CERAM material ).
D.SING diffractogram It can be observed for D.SING material diffractogram one hardness shoulder slightly lower compared to other ceramic materials.
