These alloys have
been classified as difficult-to-machine materials.
Titanium and titanium alloys have low thermal conductivity and high chemical reactivity with many cutting tool materials.
The difficulty of this method is concerned with the necessity for an accurate calibration of the tool and workpiece materials as a thermocouple pair [11].
Experiment Tooling, Machine Tools and Workpiece Materials.

Lots of damage specimens of water pipelines, made of different materials, were gathered in different intensities.
(b) The effect of pipeline material to the vulnerability during an earthquake is obviously.
The seismic performance of the in-service water supply pipelines with different materials is further understood and the following conclusions can be made: a) The vulnerability of pipelines with different materials differ greatly. The seismic performance of PPR pipes and ductile cast iron pipes is quite well during the earthquake.

As the cable remains line after deformation, according to the deformation compatibility condition
(23)
we can deduce
(24)
Substituting (24) and into (6), the horizontal stiffness of isolator can be obtained. From the calculation formulas of stiffness above,we can see,the horizontal stiffness of prestress rubber isolators is not only related to the materials and parameters of isolators, but also related to their vertical loads and horizontal shear.
