However, cast Ti-48Al-2Cr-2Nb cannot for engineering application due to low plasticity and low strength coming from coarse lamellar.
An advanced TiAl alloy with the composition Ti-47Al-4(Nb, Mn, Cr, Si, B) were carried out in GKSS by spray forming experiments.
Plansee has developed an advanced sheet rolling process for TiAl alloys which allows processing on a conventional hot-rolling mill within the α+γ zone at low rolling speeds[61].
However, there is a persistent need to the transfer from experimental research to engineering components.

Controlling Mechanism of Soluble Phosphates During CaCO3 Whiskers synthesis Lixia Li1, a , Yuexin Han 1,b and Limei Bai 2,c 1 School of Resources & Civil Engineering, Northeastern University, Shenyang 110004, China 2 College of Resources and Environment, Hebei Polytechnic University,Tangshan 063009, China a lilixia@mail.neu.edu.cn, b hanyuexin@mail.neu.edu.cn, c limeibai@126.com Keywords: soluble phosphate; aragonite; calcium carbonate whiskers; mechanism; hydroxyapatite Abstract.
CaCO3 whiskers were synthesized with soluble phosphates by one-step carbonization method, controlling mechanisms were investigated via XRD and FTIR, and it has been indicated that the most stable calcium phosphates in thermodynamics, hydroxyapatite was formed through the reaction of soluble phosphates and Ca(OH)2 in advance before CO2 was introduced, and then [CO32- (OH)] entered the crystal lattices of hydroxyapatite to replace partially [PO43- ] to yield B-carbonate hydroxyapatite in the early stage of blowing CO2, which induced aragonite to heterogeneously nucleate as nucleation center and grew into calcium carbonate whiskers by the continuous stack of Ca2+ and CO32- , while other HA selectly adsorbed onto the flanks of CaCO3 to control crystal morphology. 1.

In its simplest form, the model is advanced one change of a voxel at a time, based on the change in the system energy.
The system is advanced in time by allowing the value of each field variable to change in response to the gradient of the energy functional with respect to that variable.
