Introduction Porous composites consisting of biodegradable materials, i.e. hydroxyapatite, HAp, and Poly (D, L-lactide), PLA, are candidate materials for numerious applications in bio-material engineering because of their potential to exhibit mechano-compatibility and biocompatibility.
Materials.
Porous composites tested in this work consist of only biodegradable materials, i.e. poly (D, L-lactide), PLA, and hydroxyapatite, HAp.
The deviation from Hertzian contact relationship at the second part of loading is similar to the yielding behavior of common engineering materials, and may indicate the onset of plastic deformation beneath the indenter.

But what need to be stressed is that plastics are high molecular weight materials derived from petroleum and the average calorific value of hydrocarbon, the major component of the plastics, is as high as 40000 kJ·kg-1 [3,4].
The results are probably supposed to provide reference for the optimization of pyrolysis process parameters of waste plastics. 1 Experimental 1.1 Materials and Apparatus Experimental materials were plastic bags, transparent disposable cup and plastic film and their compositions were polyethylene, polypropylene and PVC respectively. 4 samples were PE, PP, PVC and mixed plastics whose mixing ratio of PE/PP/PVC was 6.5:2.5:1. 5 g of sample was loaded into the reactor each time.
Higher heating rate meant less time needed for reactor and materials to reach stable temperature.

However, like PEEK and UHMWPE, most of polymeric materials are bioinert materials.
These materials can keep long-term stable in biological environment, while their application in the load-bearing bone repair were limited, due to their low mechanical performance [2].To improve the bioactive and mechanical properties of polymer, much attention is paid to fabricate bone-like composite materials.
The QF content had obvious effects on enhancing the mechanical properties of composite materials; The QF was well dispersed in the polymer matrix; The QF/n-HA/PA66 composite could match the requirement for the long segment of bearing parts bone repair.
