The material composition, mineralogical composition and structure, genetic type and characteristics of shear stress and strain of weak intercalated layer in dam foundation of Datengxiapower station are analyzed, the valuation rule of the shear strength of weak intercalated layer with plasticfailure mode is discussed, and finally the recommended geological value of shear strength of weak intercalated layer in this project is proposed.
This paper through the analysis of material composition, mineral composition, structure types, causes, shear stress-strain characteristics of the water conservancy project Datengxia weak interlayer, discusses the selection principle of the damaged weak plastic interlayer shear strength parameters[7,8].

However, like PEEK and UHMWPE, most of polymeric materials are bioinert materials.
These materials can keep long-term stable in biological environment, while their application in the load-bearing bone repair were limited, due to their low mechanical performance [2].To improve the bioactive and mechanical properties of polymer, much attention is paid to fabricate bone-like composite materials.
The QF content had obvious effects on enhancing the mechanical properties of composite materials; The QF was well dispersed in the polymer matrix; The QF/n-HA/PA66 composite could match the requirement for the long segment of bearing parts bone repair.

The nuclear fuel materials are experiencing irradiation conditions driven by fission reactions and suffering resultant damages caused by high energy particles (70 to 80MeV; initial kinetic energy).
Based on industrial and academic interest on this peculiar restructuring including Cauliflower, the New Cross-Over project (NXO), sub-title with "new engineering to control materials behavior at high energy and high fluence irradiation," has been started from April 2004 conducted under the Atomic Energy Committee of Japan and sponsored by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
