We modeled PMP and HAP with the software Materials Studio to investigate the difference between their surface wetting characteristics.
Fig. 1: Molecular modeling of PMP Synthesis of HAP and PMP Emulsion Materials The main materials we used to synthesize PMP are listed below: hexafluorobutyl acrylate (96%, commercially pure), perfluorooctyl methacrylate (96%, commercially pure), octadecyl acrylate (97%, commercially pure), 2- hydroxylethyl acrylate (96%), 1,1-dichloroethylene (99%), acetone (analytical reagent), OP-10 (alkylphenols polyoxyethylene, commercially pure), SDS (sodium dodecyl sulfate, analytical pure), APS (ammonium persulfate, analytical reagent).
Measurement Results To test the wettability alteration properties of the chemical, we prepared four different material surfaces for the experiment.
