Damage Assessment in Bonded Composite Joints
I.A Ashcroft, S.
Introduction Both fracture mechanics and strength of materials based methods have been used in the prediction of failure of bonded joints, but both methods have limitations and are unable to model the physically observed damage and failure processes accurately.
The limitations of these methods become clear when complex loading regimes are investigated, as the subsequent failure processes cannot be predicted using traditional fracture mechanics or strength of materials methods [1].
Mesh refinements for (a) undamaged and (b) damaged specimen Introduction to Speckle pattern interferometry Electronic speckle pattern shearing Interferometry (ESPSI), popularly known as shearography, has been attracting an expanding customer base for the identification of certain flaw sites in composite materials and structures.

Introduction
The automotive frame steel (AFS) is one of the most important materials of automobile products.
It should be note that for the same materials the fatigue strength of thicker specimen is lower than the thin one.
