However, there is a lack of study in the welding mechanical properties of these materials.
This phenomenon is then more important than in the BM. 4) The mechanical properties after welding are little affected by the joining process: there is a moderate hardness increase attributed to a refined microstructure (decreased grain size and distribution of the phase Mg17Al12), and a slight decrease of tensile properties due to the presence of small-sized pores in the melted zone.

Selective grain refinement is the potential application of friction stir processing which would produce microstructure gradient viz., nugget zone, thermo mechanically affected zone (TMAZ) and heat affected zone (HAZ).
Nugget zone contains fully recrystallized equiaxed grains, thermo mechanically affected zone contains grains which are partially recrystallized and the heat affected zone possess base material microstructure.
Thus the improvement in superplastic forming properties of 72% fine grain microstructure over the other proportions of coarse and fine grain microstructure hold great promise for commercial application of superplastic forming.

When it works, the ice layer is melted by water pressure and thermal power and other factors.
In this experiment, the factors influencing the deicing effect are nozzle aperture, the water-jet temperature, jet pressure, motor power and the distance and angle between nozzle and ice surface, etc.
Nozzle aperture and jet pressure are the main factors for this device.
In this model the relief angle is negative, which means only one surface of edge is affected by the ice cutting resistance.
Conducted repeated experiments to find out the impacting factors in the deicing work.

Packaging residual stress is key concern in terms of device reliability and performance [1], not only affecting structural integrity but also causing structural deformations that can affect device operation.
Strip Test In this work we carried out an especially designed test to investigate the mechanical properties of the adhesive under the actual mechanical conditions.

The critical factor to achieve high dimensional accuracy is reducing the through-thickness gradients on both the profile bottom and sidewall.
The gap opening GA, as shown in Fig. 1(b), is applied to characterize the springback levels, the deviation of which mainly results from two factors, the large sidewall angle θ1 and the bottom angle θ2.
Uniaxial tensile tests were conducted to investigate the mechanical properties of the as-received materials.
The mechanical properties of carbon steel were employed to simulate the elastic deformation of the shim block.

However, MMC is significantly affected by the interface under the transverse loading.
MMC offers the potential of having outstanding mechanical properties unobtainable in conventional metals because under longitudinal loading the material makes full use of the high strength fibers.
The properties of continuous fiber reinforced MMC are significantly influenced by the properties of the fiber/matrix interface.
The interface boundary consists of the multi thin layers with other mechanical properties linearly.
Table 1 shows the mechanical properties of the SiC fiber and Ti-15-3 matrix of the three thin layers with variable properties.

According to the real conditions of Jinduicheng Molybdenum Open-pit Mine and considering slope stability influential factors such as rock properties and geological structures, slope geometry parameters, groundwater, blasting activities and others, a fuzzy synthetic evaluation model of slope stability is established, which involved membership functions and multi-level weight distribution method.
The membership degrees of these factors, which are divided into qualitative factors and quantitative factors, are calculated from trapezoidal membership function and ridge membership function.
Since rock properties of the mine are close, rock mechanical parameters of other sides could be defined referring to the values above [1].
Membership function includes membership function of quantitative influential factors and that of qualitative influential factors.

It was found that fabricated material were effective in the enhancement of photovoltaic and photostrictive properties.
Due to these properties, light feedback idea was successfully implemented into construction of piezoelectric transformer (PT)[9].
On a base of such coexistence of two properties there is generation of high voltage on level of several kV.
The mechanical quality factor QM also, in spite of higher value for PLZT 9/65/35 material, is approximately constant and almost not affected by the illumination (Table 1).
